Ducati Miami opens doors at the Wynwood Gateway Complex.

More than 300 partygoers converged on the Wynwood Gateway Complex for an evening of bikes, art, fashion and rock n’ roll to celebrate the official grand opening of Ducati Miami. The first international luxury brand to open shop in the Wynwood neighborhood, Ducati Miami is the anchor tenant at the Metro 1-developed retail complex serving as the gateway to the dynamic arts district.

Crowds gathered with drinks in hand to watch Justin Vallee, accomplished street artist and one half of the group “2square”, embellish one façade of the complex in true Wynwood fashion – with a spray-painted mural homage to Ducati complete with artists’ signature blossoming roses. A portion of NW 29th Street was closed off for two bike stunt performances where Ducati riding daredevils executed acrobatic maneuvers like gravity defying wheelies, stoppies, and smoking hot burnouts. Rounding out the evening was a full throttle Ducati fashion show highlighting the latest line of leathers, apparel and even swimsuits from the luxury Italian brand.
